The project consortium of SuperClean has been awarded a total grant amount of €2.97m for their proposal on the implementation and upscaling of surface treatment techniques for creating superhydrophobic membranes. The consortium consists of 5 partners from 4 countries – Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands and Greece. SolarSpring will receive a grant amount of € 364,125 to test the modified membrane
materials and implement them in full scale membrane distillation modules for pilot trials with different wastewaters.
