SolarSpring has a professional partner network. This means that our customers can be sure that they are working with people who are trained, competent and committed. These partners are supported by SolarSpring with the latest training, know-how, market information and support & services.

Fraunhofer Institut für solare Energiesysteme

Founded in 2009 as a spin-off of the Fraunhofer ISE, SolarSpring GmbH – membrane solutions, hasevolved into an international pioneer in the field of membrane distillation offering innovative waste- anddrinking water treatment technology. The research group of Dr. Joachim Koschikowski, one of the founders of SolarSpring, has been working on the topic of membrane distillation since 2001. Together, numerous plants have been installed and projects realized worldwide.

Industrial Solar GmbH

Like SolarSpring GmbH, Industrial Solar GmbH emerged from Fraunhofer ISE Freiburg im Breisgau.

Clean Industry Solutions Holding Europe AB holds 100% of Industrial Solar GmbH and 100% ofSolarSpring GmbH – both located in Freiburg/Germany. Industrial Solar GmbH is an international leading technology and solution provider, which developsprojects mainly based on its innovative Fresnel collector technology suitable for fulfilling an expectedgrowing market of solar process heat. As a one-stop-shop Industrial Solar offers turnkey solutions forcustomers in several industries. Find out more about Industrial Solar GmbH at the following address: https://www.industrial-solar.de/

Projects

RoKKa

SolarSpring GmbH is a pioneer in the field of membrane distillation with innovative wastewater and drinking water treatment technology. SolarSpring GmbH is also a member of the consortium of the EU and the state of Baden-Württembergs funded research and development project RoKKa.

BrineMine

A system consisting of several membrane process stages will be used to extract minerals, metals and fresh water from geothermal brines. The demonstrator is being set up in Chile.

Incover

INCOVER concept has been designed to move wastewater treatment from being primarily a sanitation technology towards a bio-product recovery industry and a recycled water supplier.

ReWaCEM

The ReWaCEM project aims at reducing water use, wastewater production, energy use, valuable metal resource recovery and water footprint by between 30-90% in the metal plating, galvanizing and printed circuit board industry.

ReSalt

The discharge of process water with a high neutral salt load from industrial syntheses represents a burden for water bodies. The aim of the ReSalt project is to recover the NaCl contained in industrial wastewater and return it to the chlor-alkali electrolysis process and recycle the resulting water.

Ammonium MD

Use of membrane distillation to remove ammonium from the back load of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants with anaerobic sludge stabilization.
